Here is a little bit of information about the people behind Relocate South West.
We are David and Sarah Gibson, a husband and wife team who live, work and play in the South West of England. David is originally from Scotland but moved to Plymouth in 2010 when his work in Tourism brought him South. With over 25 home moves behind him in less than 20 years he regards himself as a seasoned expert in relocating!
Sarah, was born and raised in the Plymouth area and loves her home county of Devon. With an extensive background in tourism marketing she is the perfect person to provide you with background information about where you want to live in the South West.
Devon and Cornwall really does have it all!
Fabulous coasts, world class moors, wildlife galore as well as history, heritage, culture and fabulous locally sourced food and drink.
The Wet Stuff
Whether you’re looking for pristine sandy beaches for your family, rugged rocky coastlines for fishing, stand up paddle-boarding & snorkelling or wild Atlantic waves for sailing, surfing or even kite surfing the coasts of Devon and Cornwall won’t disappoint.
The unique geography of the peninsula means we have North, South and West facing coasts to choose from. This means that no matter the weather or tide you’re (almost) guaranteed to find somewhere you can get in to the water.
The Inland Stuff
Devon and Cornwall is perhaps the least inhabited part of England. This means that there are huge tracts of unspoiled moors, forest, lakes and rivers to play with.
Dartmoor National Park offers some of the most stunning walking and cycling routes in the UK, history galore and breathtaking views!
